Robert J. Neuser, age 102, a resident at Harmony Living Center, 2115 Cappeart Road, Manitowoc, entered eternal life Tuesday evening, July 15, 2014 at the living center.

Robert was born on January 31, 1912 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Charles and Theresa Seibert Neuser. Robert was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and continued his education in officer's training school with the United States Army. He entered the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and served overseas in the European Theater. After being honorably discharged Robert lived in the Chicago, Illinois area for many years and returned to Manitowoc in the early 1970's. Robert was an avid Green Bay Packer football fan.

He is survived by one sister: Rita Fictum, Manitowoc, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Theresa Neuser; eleven brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Deacon Bob Beehner. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00. Military rites will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto Oas Post #659 immediately following the memorial service at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. After the conclusion of the military rites there will be a luncheon held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
