Kay Johnson, 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Johnson of Montpelier, died this morning (Thursday) in a Salt Lake City hospital. Besides her parents she is survived by a sister, Mary Jane.
Funeral services will be held at one p.m. Sunday in the Second ward chapel.

RITES FOR CHILD HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services for Kay Johnson, six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Johnson, were held Sunday at one o’clock in the Second ward chapel, with Bishop Alvin Tueller presiding.
The invocation was offered by Frank Knutti; a vocal duet, “Beyond Today,” Bishop and Mrs. James Olsen; remarks, Bishop Tueller; vocal solo, “In the Garden,” Gayle Tueller; speaker, Bishop Byron E. Mumford; organ solo, “Largo” by Handel, Wesley Baker; closing song, “I’m a Pilgrim,” Bishop and Mrs. Olsen; benediction, Parley Lloyd. The grave in the Montpelier cemetery was dedicated by Russell Waldron of Tremonton, Utah. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Casket bearers were Ross Kunz, LaGrande Arnell, Dr. Wells Stock and Glen Talbot.
