Mr. Tompkins was a life resident of Baldwinsville and had retired as the custodian for the Baldwinsville Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a member of that order.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha; three sons. James of Elbridge, Robert of Baldwinsville and Edward of Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Anson of Warners and Mrs. Dorothy Barlow; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Veeder and Mrs. Gladys Claver, both of Baldwinsville; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services today at John C. Tindall funeral home, the Rev. Franklin Weaver officiating. Burial at Myrtle Hill. Moose order services were held Tuesday evening.
