Nancy A. Ace, 74, of Machesney Park, was reunited with her husband for eternal life Wednesday, July 16, 2014, after a sudden illness. Born Oct. 4, 1939, in Beloit, Wis., the daughter of Harry and Alice (Knapp) Bandlow. Married Robert O. Ace on June 18, 1960, in Janesville, Wis. Her family was the center of her life. If you wanted to know when the Chicago Bulls, Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks or NASCAR races were on, all you would have to do is call Nancy.

Survivors include children, Bob Ace, Pamela (John) Lack and Tarina (Tom) Garton; stepdaughters, Sandra Ace and Susan Dumproff; grandchildren, Stephanie, Mark and Annie Garton, Samantha Ace, Cale and Scott (Jen) Eakins, David Ace, Emily and Katie Dumproff; four great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Lloyd; numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by husband.

Nancy had far too many very special friends and relatives to mention them all by name. They know who they are.

Service at noon Tuesday, July 22, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.

Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
