Addison Advisor - January 1, 1920

Mrs. Abbie E. Colburn, aged 76 years, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Ray Wolcott, 115 Sterling street. Corning, Thursday, following an illness from a complication of diseases.

Mrs. Colburn was the widow of the late Oliver Colburn, of this place, who died 24 years ago. She spent most of her life in Addison, where she was well known and highly respected. Eighteen years ago, she went to Corning where she made her home with her daughter. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Methodist church of Corning. Her death will be mourned by a wide circle of friends in Corning and Addison.

Decedent is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ford Davis, Addison, Mrs. Floyd Hubbard, DuBois; Mrs. Ray Wolcott of Addison; three sons, D. O. Colburn, Binghamton; W. O. Colburn, Addison, and C. H. Colburn, Corning; one sister, Mrs. Emma Bly, South Addison.
