Daughter of Phoebe, Mary Alice, says her mother was born in July, while Phoebe's sister Janie had her born in January. Mary Alice also stated that her mother was buried in Pima County Memorial Park in Tuscon while Phoebe's sister Janie had Phoebe buried next to her second husband Jimmie in South Lawn Memorial Park in Tuscon. Phoebe married 1st John (Roscoe) Gregory Feb 6, 1905 in Springfield Missouri, two children this marriage Dorothy Ellen and Mary Alice. Phoebe married 2nd James (Jimmie) Ervingston May 4 1954 in Tuscon Arizona.

Alice Evingston

Mrs. Alice Evingston, 68, of 644 E. 4th St., died Friday at a local rest home. Came to Tucson from Kansas City, Mo., six years ago. Mother of Mrs. Mary Cello and Mrs. Dorothy Smith, both of Kansas City. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at the Arizona Mortuary chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Fowler, of St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in South Lawn Memoiral Park.
