Gordon Paulus Anthony Jump, Sr. Age 95 of Camden, Ohio passed away Friday morning July 18, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on February 14, 1919, he was the son of the late Arthur & Ellen Jump. Gordon served for the U.S. Army during WWII in the Phillippines and Japan in the 44th Tank Battalion. He was a Foreman Lineman for Ohio Bell for 30 years, and also worked for 18 years for Deltona Schools in Florida. Gordon was a member of the American Legion post 140 in Greenville. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 47 years Margaret Jump, whom he married February 12, 1967: daughters Katherine (Gary) Obringer of Arcanum, OH: Theresa King of Dayton, OH: Laurie (Doug) Matthews of Cookesville, TN: sons Gordon (Kim) Jump Jr. Of Daytona Beach, FL and Roy ( Vicki) Barton of Eaton, OH: grandchildren Julie (Jason) Strange of North Carolina: Rachel (Billy) Cline of Xenia, OH: Eva (Justin) Brewer of Lebanon, OH: Sarah Stephen of Arcanum: step- grandchildren Melissa (Bobby) Sparks of Englewood, OH and Michelle ( J.C.) Niehoff of Camden: along with 16 great- grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00- 1:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US RT 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
