Injuries suffered in a fall Halloween night resulted in the death of a former Trojan in Cohoes Hospital last night, Charles A. Allendorph, 29, of 25 Lancaster Street, Cohoes, son of Hoseman Frank B. Allendorph, of Central Fire Station, Troy and the late Mrs. Birdella Smith Allendorph, died at 6 o'clock last night in the Cohoes Hospital of a fractured skull suffered Halloween night in a fall in front of his home. Mr. Allendorph was about to enter his home when he fell. He was treated at the house by Dr. A. M. Breault, of Cohoes, who ordered his removal to the hospital. He was taken there in Duffy's ambulance.

Mr. Allendorph was born in Troy and resided here until about six years ago when he moved to Cohoes. He was employed as a chauffeur by the Quandt Brewing Company. In former years Mr. Allendorph was active in athletics in this city and played with some of the leading basketball teams in Troy.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Cohoes. Survivers include his widow, formerly Emelda Veve; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Allendorph, of Troy; a daughter, Joan and two sons, Charles A. Allendorph, Jr., and Donald Allendorph of Cohoes, and three sisters, Misses Virginia and Dorothy Allendorph and Mrs. Geraldine O'Dell, all of Troy.

The funeral will be held Monday morning from the A. G. Bolvin and Son Funeral Chapel, 70 Congress Street Cohoes, and from St. Joseph's church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated.
