Louise Clum Eddy, 87, formerly of Hamilton Avenue died Monday, January 6, 2014, at Eddy Heritage House Nursing Center after a long illness. Born in Clums Corners in Center Brunswick, she was daughter of the late Frank C Eddy and Cora Clum Eddy. She had resided for 47 years on Hamilton Avenue Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1943 and attended Russell Sage College and Troy Business College. Louise was employed as a legal secretary for McNamee, Lockner, Titus & Williams for 45 years and formerly for Murphy, Aldrich, Broderick & Simon. She was a lifelong member of the Gilead Lutheran Church in Center Brunswick. She enjoyed traveling and had visited every state and many countries and loved to go to the Racino. Survivors include a nephew, Robert H. (Donna) Eddy, Troy; her great nieces, Brooke (Joseph) Quintal and Gretchen Eddy and great great nieces and nephews, Dylan and Hailey Quintal and Vivien and Claire Schissler, her best friend, Frances Lansing and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mildred L Eddy, Marion Ackert and Howard Randall Eddy and two nephews, William J. Eddy and Leon Ackert. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, from 4-6 PM. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Louise C. Eddy to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204.
