Mildred Walker, age 77 of Pickrington, passed away Friday morning at Mt. Carmel E. Hospital.Retired from Lazarus after several years as a salesperson. She also ran a store in Athens alongside her husband Joseph on Union St.back in the forties.Survived by daughter Sally Dotson, step-daughters, Renee McFarland of Florida, Thelma McFarland of Columbus, Dorothy Smith of Athens. Several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Sister, Velma Dawson of Nelsonville. Brothers, Charles of Lancaster and Albert of Columbus. Preceded in death by parents, Albert Sr. and Nettie Fulton-Bretz.Husbands, Joseph Walker 1961 and Elmer Hizer 1984. Brothers, Robert,and Melvin. Sister, Alberta Bretz. Mildred was a member of Christ in Christian Union. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Jagers Funeral Home in Athens where services will be held Monday 1 PM. Burial in New Marshfield.
