Carl E. Frei, 49, of 29 N. Wadsworth St., died at his home this morning. He was found dead in bed. After a postmortem examination, a certificate of death due to natural causes was issued by Coroner Morton P. Orlov. Dr. John Shelter pronounced him dead. Mr. Frei was known to have heart trouble. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the McQuigan Funeral Home. A lifelong resident of Geneva he worked for the American Can Co. for about 25 years. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Frei, 29 Wadsworth St.; a son, David E. Frei, with the U.S. Army in Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley B. Abbott, Newark; and Mrs. Joseph P. Paulsen, Geneva; two brothers, Paul J. Frei of Clyde and John C. of Geneva, nine nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Carl E. Frei, 49, of 29 N. Wadsworth St., who died Monday, was at the McGuigan Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. today. Burial was in Geneva. Bearers were all equipment service men of the American Can Co., and were Paul Hoskins, Albert Ricketson, Leon Graves, Frederick Mori, Thomas Abbott and Russell Fix.
