Private family services were held April 12 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The Rev. Merlin Schrad of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Richard was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Sioux City, the son of Elmer and Evelyn (Perkins) Rizk. He attended Sioux City Public Schools, then spent 24 years at Village Northwest in Sheldon, Iowa, before returning to Sioux City.
Survivors include his father, Elmer Rizk of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Jameley and Jim Levich of Sioux City; three brothers, Fred Rizk and his wife, Kathy of Sioux City, James Rizk and his wife, Karen of Harlan, Iowa, and John Rizk of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn.
