Funeral services for Mrs. Earl Ruble, 62, were held at the White Oak Pond church at 2 p.m. Saturday, under the direction of the Holman Funeral Home. Burial was in White Oak Pond Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruble died about 11 p.m. Wednesday of third degree burns and other injuries suffered in a car-truck collision, which occurred at 5:30 o'clock on Highway 5, about 7 1/4 miles south of Lebanon.
Highway patrolmen said the crash occurred when the truck driven by her husband, Earl Ruble, 48, was struck by a car driven by Darrell Shaddy of Lebanon, as the Ruble vehicle started to turn left into the driveway of the W. L. Renner home.
Mr. Ruble is confined to Wallace hospital with a fractured spine and other injuries. He was removed to a Springfield hospital where his back was placed in a cast. Hospital attendants today report his condition is satisfactory.
Also injured were Mr. Shaddy and his brother-in-law, Joe Bob Brown, who was a passenger in his car. Both men were admitted to Wallace hospital with serious injuries and were later transferred to Springfield Baptist hospital.
