SISSETON - - C E (Chuck) Vanderlinden, 68, died Nov 29 in a Fargo, ND hospital. Burial will be in the Sisseton Cemetery.
Mr Vanderlinden was born Nov 14, 1905 at Harrison, SD; and graduated from Corsica High School.
He married Ruth Clark, May 12, 1935, at Aberdeen and the couple lived in Webster for many years where Mr Vanderlinden operated the Farmers Supply Co. Since 1957 he had lived in Sisseton where he was a sales representative for Investors Diversified Services of Minneapolis.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church, the Masonic Lodge of Sisseton and the Yelduz Shrine Temple of Aberdeen.
Survivors: his widow; two sons, Clark, Minneapolis; H Jay, Red Wing, Minn; two brothers, Gerrit, Corsica; Elmer, Oalkland, Calif; four sisters, Ada Grosz, Rapid City; Marie Strain, LaJunta, Colo; Evelyn Sketchly, Yucaipa, Calif and Sarah Royer, Sun City, Calif; and four grandchildren.
