Roy R. Daly, 72, of Miami, died Friday evening in Miami Baptist hospital after a lengthy illness. Daly had been a cement contractor here until 1942 when illness forced his retirement. He was a member of the Second Baptist church.
Survivors include a son, Robert P. Daly, Edmonds, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Vaz, Long Beach, Calif.' and Mrs. Jewell Sellars, 19 H street northeast; three brothers and two sisters, whose names were not available; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Cooper Funeral home. The Rev. Russell Moudy will officiate. Burial will be in GAR cemetery.
Pallbearers include Mack Hargrove, Oscar Vanatta, Tobe Bluejacket, Joe Blair, A.C. Robinson and Frank Simms.
