GREELEY — Teresa "Teri" J. (Creech) Dugan, 59, of Greeley died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Greeley. The Rev. Matthew J. Koperski will officiate. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Giltner Cemetery. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is serving the family.
Ms. Dugan was born June 29, 1955, in Grand Island to Dale and Imogene (Robinson) Creech.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Scott Conway of Fullerton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bo and Denise Kingery of Grand Island, and J.R. and Jody Kingery of Omaha; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Kim Creech; and a sister and brother-in-law, Kat and Dave Osborne.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Trevor, Kaitlyn, Kael, Shae, Harper and Sawyer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She grew up in Giltner and graduated from Giltner High School in 1973. Following high school, she attended Cosmetology School in Cheyenne, Wyo., and Grand Island.
On March 16, 1974, she was united in marriage to Chuck Kingery at the Giltner United Methodist Church. They made their home in Giltner, where Teri worked as a cosmetologist. A daughter and two sons were born to this marriage, Heidi, Bo and J.R.
Teri was united in marriage to Chuck McFadden on April 16, 1988, at Giltner. They made their home in Greeley, where she owned and operated The Brick Palace and later Fresh Hair Salon. Mr. McFadden preceded her in death in January of 1989. Teri remained in Greeley, operating her salon until retiring due to poor health.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Teri loved to do crossword puzzles and work in her flower and plant garden. Her children and grandchildren will always cherish her delicious cooking and working arts and crafts with their loving "Na." In retirement, Teri always looked forward to spending every minute she could with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chuck McFadden; and a sister, Colleen Hinrichs.
