Deborah Lynn Korsmoe was born to parents Wilhelm and Vernice Jorgenson Korsmoe on September 9, 1947 in Bagley, Minnesota. She attended grade school in McIntosh and Mentor and then high school in Gonvick, graduating in 1965. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. On June 18, 1966 she married Orlean Agnes at St. Charles Catholic Church in Trail. After their marriage, they lived on the Agnes family farm.

Debbie loved to garden and grew many seedlings which she shared with others and had also been a 4-H leader. In 2004 Orlean and Debbie moved to Fosston and Debbie became one of the Embassy "basement ladies". It was a job she enjoyed and she really enjoyed her co-workers. In 2005 they bought a house with a nice garden spot and that's when she and Donnie Bolme became gardening partners. They raised enough for themselves and even some for the neighbors. Debbie loved to play cards but her favorite thing to do was watching Dalton play hockey and baseball.

Debbie passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston at the age of 66 years.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Orlean; her son, Jered (Theresa) Agnes; her daughter, Linda Amundsen; one grandson, Dalton; and step grandson, Anthony Larson; one sister, Kathy (Ralph) Peterson; three brothers, Davis (Vicky) Korsmoe of Mt. Lake Terrace, WA, Kelvin (Sally, and Kendell Korsmoe; aunts, Clarice Kolling and Karen Jorgenson; and one great aunt, Dora Ness Love Joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, John Amundsen.
