LaVerta grew up in Washington an attended J M Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen. Where she graduated in 1942. After High School she worked at the Boeing plant.
LeVerta married William Debacker, 26 July 1944 in Aberdeen, Washington. They moved to Del Norte County, California and had three children, Carol Ann, William Vearl, and Cathy Ann. LeVerta and William divorced 20 November 1953 in Bonner, Idaho.
Three days after her divorce was final, LeVerta married Arthur James Frame on 23 November 1953 in Reno, Nevada. They had no children and it is not known when they divorced.
LeVerta meet Donald Howard "Don" Hendricks, the son of Minnie (Schauer) and Frank Hendricks. They were said to be married 1 Jan 1957, through there has not been any records found. They had three children, Debbie Diane, Donald Robert, and Phamie Denise. LeVerta and Don were together for 45 years. They lived in a variety of places in Oregon. Mostly in the Willamina, Sheridan, Grand Ronde area and in Florence.
LeVerta was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Lucille LaVerne (5 Feb 2002), and her husband Don (4 Oct 2002). After her death on 12 November 2002 in McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon, LaVerta's remains were cremated and her ashes were given to her family.
