At the home of his parents,in Upper Yoder township, on Monday, January 17, 1898, at 2:10 o'clock P.M., of typhoid fever, DAVID, son of Ezra and Flora Ortz, aged 28 years.
Funeral at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon; interment in Grand View Cemetery.

David Ortz died at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ezra W. Ortz, of Yoder township, Cambria county, on Monday afternoon of last week, of typhoid fever, at the age of 29 years. The deceased was born in Indiana [Indiana, Pennsylvania] and lived here until 1881, when he removed with his parents to Johnstown and later to Yoder township. He is survived by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. The funeral services ... by Rev. W.A. Williams, of Altoona. The interment was made in the Grand View cemetery, Johnstown.
