William Owens Victim of Bolt in Storm Wednesday Afternoon
Birch Run, Mich., July 7 - William Owens, 45 years old, was instantly killed by lightning while shocking wheat in an open field on his farm five miles southeast of here Wednesday afternoon during a severe thunder and hail storm which passed over the town. He was married and leaves eight children.
