A lifelong resident of Hunt, she was the widow of Otto Hinz. She was a 50-year member of the Hunt Grange.
Surviving are three daughters, Alice Hinz of Williamsville, Lois Parker of Fillmore and Linda Burns of Nunda; four sons, Richard of VanEtten, Norman of Williamsville, Roger of Fillmore and Leslie of Wyoming; a brother, William C. Cartwright of Hunt; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Hunt Hollow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nunda Ambulance Corps or the Portageville Baptist Church. (Genesee Country Express, February 10, 1983, p16)
