Edward N. Ebenhoe, 47, of Kellnersville, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph
Kalisek will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ebenhoe was born March 3, 1917, at Brillion, son of the late Wenzel and Agnes Kocourek Ebenhoe. He attended St. Mary Parochial School at Brillion and was graduated from Brillion High School in 1935. He was employed after
graduation on several farms in the area and married Charlotte Backhaus Nov. 20, 1943, at St. Joseph Catholic church, Silver Lake.

He had been employed by Mirro Aluminum Co., Manitowoc, and Brillion Iron Works, Inc., and the past seven years by Manitowoc Portland Cement Co.

The family moved to Kellnersville 14 years ago. He had been a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, Branch 114, Kellnersville, and has been a past secretary; a member and marshall of Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville; a member of Local 34, Cement, Lime and Gypsum Workers Union; and a leader of the 4-H Hustlers, Kellnersville.

Surviving him are his wife, six sons, Ralph of St. Nazianz and Ronald, Edward E., Marvin, Howard and Joseph at home; five daughters, Jane, an aspirant at Lay of Angels Convent, Wheaton, Ill., and Lorraine, Marilyn, Margaret and Lina at home; three brothers, Elmer of Milwaukee, Joseph of Appleton and Richard of Kaukauna; and three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Marcella) Bornemann of Two Rivers, Mrs. Lewis (Mary) Prentice of West Allis and Mrs. Norbert (Delores) McHugh of Appleton. A son, Roger, died in infancy and two brothers, Lawrence and Eugene, also preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by Catholic Knights and Holy Name Society members and at 9 p.m. by Monsignor Kalisek.
