Waddington-Mrs. Maude Desmond Dunne, 83, died at her apartment on Main St., Waddington, at 11:30 pm Sunday, May 2, 1965, of a coronary thrombosis.
Mrs. Dunne had been ill for some time with a heart ailment and had been under the care of Dr. Ludwig Auerbach.
Funeral services were held at St.Patrick's Church, Brasher Falls, at 10 am Wednesday where a funeral Mass of requiem was celebrated by the Rev. Herbert J Hannan, pastor. Burial was in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Dunne is one brother of Stoney Point; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dunne was born in Brasher Falls, June 21, 1882, a daughter of John and Mary O'Connor Desmond. She attended St. Joseph's Academy in Brasher Falls and later married William J Dunne, Oct. 13, 1919, in St. Francis Church, New Haven, Conn. The Rev. V.A. McDonough pastor officiated.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Dunne were employed in the New Haven Clock Co., Works, for many years. After Mr. Dunne's she came to Waddington and served as a housekeeper for 13 years for her brother-in-law, the late Angus Parkinson.
Recently Mrs. Dunne had been occupying the apartment on Main St., in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Murphy.
