Margaret A. Swoboda, age 87, of 2305 Sandy Bay Road, Two Rivers, passed to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at her residence.

The funeral Mass will be held at 1030 a.m. on Thursday morning, Dec. 17, 2009, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the Swoboda family with funeral arrangements.

Margaret A. Swoboda(sic), age 87, of 2305 Sandy Bay Road, Two Rivers, passed
to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at her residence.
Margaret was born in Manitowoc on Dec. 31, 1921, daughter of the late John and
Rose Turczynski, the third of eight children. She attended public elementary
and high schools in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. On March 26, 1938, she married
Ruben Swoboda at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in
death on Nov. 13, 2004. She was employed full-time at Mirro Aluminum in Two
Rivers and later part-time at Carron Net Company also in Two Rivers. Margaret
loved her family and friends and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
She was always interested in other people's views and could keep up a lively
conversation. Margaret was an avid Packers fan and loved Brett Favre. She
enjoyed card playing, especially the game Sheepshead. Margaret loved to cook
and bake and treated everyone with her culinary delights. She loved her Church
and attended regularly.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Rose Turczynski;
her beloved husband: Ruben Swoboda; one son: Michael Swoboda; one grandson: Shane;
her brothers: Leonard, Richie, John, and Carl Turczynski, and one sister and two
brothers-in-law: Dorothy and Elmer Gauthier and Albert Stone.
