DODGEVILLE - The funeral
for Mrs. Al Oaklief, 86, who
died Wednesday, will be at 10
a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's
Catholic Church.
Friends may call after 3 p.m.
today at the McGinley Funeral
Home, where an Altar Society
rosary will be said at 4:15 p.m.
and the parish rosary at 8 tonight.
The former Theresa (Tess)
Keyes was born in the Township
of Eden and was an elementary
school teacher in Ellendale
(Grant County). She became
postmaster of the City of Cobb
in 1924 and held that office until
1956 when she retired and
moved to Dodgeville. She married
Mr. Oaklief in 1959.
She was a member of the
church and its altar society.
Surviving in Madison is a
Brother, Joseph, 408 Marston Ave.
Also surviving are her husband;
two stepsons , Albert,
LaFarge; and James, West
Bend; three stepdaughters,
Mrs. Maxine Hoffman, Carson
City, Nev.; Mrs. Margaret
Wendt, Hartford ; and Mrs.
Rosemary Housiaux, Rapid
City, S.D.; and two other brothers,
Earl, Oconomowoc; and Paul, Pewaukee.
