Funeral services for Betty Carroll Lindsey, 82, of Roberta, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the Roberta/Crawford Civic Center, formerly Musella Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the service hour. Burial will follow in Roberta City Cemetery. Mrs. Lindsey passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Coliseum Medical Center. She was a member of Musella Methodist Church, owned and operated Betty's Beauty Box, and was a member of Keep Roberta/Crawford Beautiful. She was talented in crocheting, tatting, cross-stitching and making silk flowers and was known for her peanut butter cake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Maurice Lindsey and a son, Bo Barefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Roberta/Crawford Civic Center (Lindsey Building), PO Box 417, Roberta, GA 31078.
