Sylvia Mae Rettino of Crestline, a native of Beattyville, Kentucky, lived in Crestline for 16 years, died of pulmonary edema Thursday at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino at the age of 68. She was survived by her husband, John E., two sons, Guy k. Cox of Crestline and James H. Cox of Virginia Beach, Virginia, two stepsons, John E. of Los Angeles and Robert of Pensacola, Florida, her daughter, Robyn Rae Roth of Crestline, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Hughes Loma Linda Mortuary with burial to follow in Montecito Memorial Park.
