Mr Gunnels died in a Cameron nursing home Saturday. He was born in Milam County and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a son; David Cecil Gunnels of Cameron; two daughters, Mrs Dora Bee Jordon of Waco and Mrs Dorothy Lee Parker of Ft Worth; a brother, Dick Gunnels of Freeport; two sisters, Mrs Adel Gunter and Mrs Mae Smith, both of Austin; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
