Vera A. Abbott 94, of Rushville Vera A. Abbott, 94, of Rushville passed away at 9:58 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville. She was born on Feb. 28, 1920, in Macomb, the daughter of the late John Albert and Ethel (Lashbrook) Kelly.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 28, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice or the Houston United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by brothers Gerald and Vernon Kelly, sisters Melba Phillips, Lois Heaton, Inez Heaton and Marjorie Eddington
