Mr. Terry L. "TJ" Barber, Jr. was born March 1, 1970 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Terry, Sr. and Anita Barber. Terry was a lifelong resident of Flint, where he graduated from Northwestern High School in 1989. Terry gave his life to the Lord at an early age and was baptized at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. He joined Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church in 1996, where he served on the usher board. Terry worked as a production line worker at Ai-Genesee. Terry loved to eat, bar-be-que, and watch sports, especially football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and best friends Gino and Crew, and Big Mike.

Barber, Archie and Sandra Perry; sisters, Twanethea Taylor; 4 brothers, Darren, Antonio and Jeremy Barber, Andrew Davis; 8 aunts including special aunt, Efay Triplett; 4 uncles; 2 sisters-in-law; and 1 brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Gino and Crew, and Big Mike.
