Agnes Julia (Valko) Mason, 77, of Hiller, Fayette County, Pa., passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2007, in West Malden Manor, Charleroi, Washington County, Pa. She was born May 12, 1929, in Monessen, Westmoreland County, Pa., the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Glotz) Valko.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Mason, daughter, Diana Lynn Mason, and brother, Edward Valko. Mrs. Mason was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Brownsville, Fayette County, Pa. She also was a member of the American Legion Post 295, Brownsville, Pa., and the Brownsville Eagles Aerie 1356.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Larry D. Mason and wife, Jeanne; daughter, Michele Colbert and husband, Morgan; two foster children: Juanita Harrison, and Sharon Canon and husband, Gene; three brothers: George Valko and wife, Joanna, Leonard Valko and wife, Arlene, and Henry Valko and wife, Carol; two sisters: Irene Baker and husband, John, and Roseann Valko; six grandchildren: Larry (Marshall) Mason and wife, Patti, Leza Mason, Jory Mason and wife Michelle, Kym Ray Perruci, Mason Colbert and Ian Colbert.

Friends will be received in the CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 305 Church Street, Brownsville, Pa., today, April 21, 2007, from noon to 2 p.m. the hour of Service with the Rev. Stanley Burdock officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville, (Washington County)Pa. Arrangements are in the care of the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa.
