Mrs. Thomason Dies In Mesquite


Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Lee Thomason of Mill Street, Ladonia, were announced for 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, October 14, at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove. Mrs. Thomason died in Mesquite General Hospital at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon October 12, 1970 after a three day illness.

Interment, directed by Cooper-Sorrells, was to be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Ladonia.

A native of Madill, Okla., Mrs. Thomason was born Oct. 19, 1892, the daughter of Lee Farrar and Hattie Barrett Farrar.

She married B. C. Thomason at Bonham, Oct. 26, 1912. He died June 13, 1938. She was a member of the Dial Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond Thomason of Dumas and Wilburn Thomason and Glenn Thomason, both of Mesquite; a brother, James Farrar of Ft. Towson, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Parker of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Mamie Osborne of Lubbock; seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
