Daughter of James Taylor Lutes and Amy (Wakefield) Lutes.

Bessie Evelyn Montgomery, 85 of Piedmont, died June 7, 2005 at the Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont. She was born Nov. 19, 1919 in Clubb.
She was a member of the Piedmont Nazarene Church since 1979.
She was a seamstress for a men's clothing store.
On June 4, 1938, she married Winfred Taylor Montgomery. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Charles Winfred Montgomery of Piedmont, MO; Johnny Montgomery of St. Louis, MO; and Glendal Dean Montgomery of O'Fallon, MO; one daughter, Mary Ann Madding of O'Fallon, MO; three sisters, Geneva Barks of Lowndes, MO; Edna Freeman of Cahokia, IL; and Freda Lacy of St. Peters, MO; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at the Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. The funeral service will be Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Rhodes and Rev. Kenneth Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Montgomery Chapel Cemetery in Silva.

RELATIONSHIP: Her 4th great-grandparents, Johannes Georg Lutz and Anna Catharina (Schlatter) Lutz, are my 6th great-grandparents.
