Olive Olivia "Ollie" Clayton was born 04 July 1866 in Mooreville, Lee County, Mississippi to George Washington Clayton (1834-1914) and Amanda Jane (Redden/Redding) Clayton (1834-1868).
Ollie was 2 years old when her biological mother, Amanda Jane, passed away. After her mother's death, her father George Washington Clayton married 2nd (in Mississippi) to Esther (Skinner) Pruitt, and the family soon moved to Texas. Ollie had a total of 7 full-siblings, and 2 half-siblings. (Her father had four additional children with is 2nd wife, Esther, only two of whom survived past birth to marry and bare offspring.)
Ollie Clayton married on 16 June 1881 in Runnells County, Texas to William Barrack "Will" Twomey (1862-1928). They had 10 children: Orah Annie Twomey; Susie Belle Twomey; William Barrack "Willie" Twomey; Bulah Ollie Twomey; Infant Twomey; Benjamin James "Bennie" Twomey; Eva E Twomey; Dorintha Salone Twomey; Grace Elizabeth Twomey; and Mabel Clair Twomey.

Death Notice from Abilene Semi Weekly Reporter, Friday, August 16, 1912, Abilene, Texas:
"MRS W.B. TWOMEY DIED HERE EARLY MORNING - (From Thursday's Daily) - Mrs. O.O. Twomey, 46, dies in a local sanitarium this morning at six o'clock after having been operated upon for a serious trouble, with which she had been afflicted for several years and which had been aggravated by a fall sustained by the lady Monday night last while attempting to alight from a scurry and missing the step of a vehicle. - Deceased was the daughter of Geo. Clayton, of this city,and wife of W.B. Twomey, residing east of Ovalo. - The body was prepared for burial by the Laughter Undertaking Co., and forwarded to Ovalo on the 9:40 south-bound A & S train. - Mrs. Twomey leaves a husband and nine children, all grown and married except four, and her father, Geo. C. Clayton. - The husband and daughter, Mrs. Chas. Elliot, were at the bedside when the end came this morning. - The burial will take place in the family graveyard ten miles east of Ovalo this afternoon." Contributed by Clay Riley (member #46855958)
