Believed to be buried here with husband Moses, Margaret (Ray) Harlan was born in the county of Down, Northern Ireland, the same county as that of her husband's family, and was a member of the same meeting at Lurgan, County Armagh. In 1712, she married Moses Harlan at Newark Meeting, now Newark Co., Delaware. Her certificate of membership from the Lurgan meeting was received by the Newark Meeting on January 7, 1713. She died in Menallen Township, York (now Adams) Co., PA, several years after her husband's death in 1749. Children: Mary Harlan (m. John Cox) and Rebecca Harlan (m. John Blackburn).
