James Timberly/Tillman Hunter & his wife Henrietta lived on the Family Farm and made their living off the land. James T. Hunter enlisted in the Confederate Army on 02 Sept. 1862. He fought in the battles at Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Stone River. After returning from the War, he & his Family bought land in Trigg County, KY; in 1865 on the Cumberland River where game & fish were more plentiful. James died 29 April 1910 & his wife, Henrietta died, 26 Aug. 1914. They are both buried in the Hunter Family Cemetery on the land they bought in Trigg County, Kentucky.
