C.W. Yancey, a resident of the Poplar Grove Community, passed away at his home.He was the son of the late Herschel and Christine Hayden Yancey.
Mr. Yancey served on the Owen County Board of Conservation and served his country in Army from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Grace, two daughters, Anne & Glenna and two granddaughters. Also surviving is his brother, Lloyd.
