Mrs.
Eva M. Johnson, 77, of Mt. Morris, R.D. 1, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, December
29, 1968, in the residence of her son, Wesley Johnson, of Waynesburg, R.D.

She had not been in the best of health for the past several
months.
Mrs. Johnson was born August 19, 1891, in Perry Township near Mt.
Morris, the daughter of Lemmon and Hope Dye Coss.
She had resided all her
life in the Mt. Morris community where she had been a member of the Mason's
Ridge Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Spencer W. Johnson, whom
she married August 4, 1906; two daughters: Mrs. Stanley (Leanna) Fox, of
Waynesburg, R.D. 3, and Mrs. Ed (Virginia) Preece, of Livonie, Mich.; three
sons: Olan L. Johnson, of Mt. Morris, R.D. 1; Orris L. Johnson, of Bobtown, and
Wesley Johnson, of Waynesburg, R.D. 3; 24 grandchildren and 39
great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Lula Mae, and three sisters are
deceased.
