Lucille Raulston (Bond) was born to the late William Ferdinand Bond and Nora Bond on December 27, 1926 in Little Washington, North Carolina. She departed this life peacefully on February 17, 2021.

Lucille received her early education in the Beaufort County School System. She moved to New Castle County Delaware in 1943. Lucille spent most of her life working as a cook. She worked for the Hollywood Diner as a short order cook for 15 years and later at the DuPont County Club where she worked until she retired in 1988. In her past time, she liked to dip snuff, play the lottery, and watch baseball. Lucille also enjoyed spending time with family. Her door was always open, literally, she never locked it.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis Raulston, one daughter, Lucille (Poochie) Raulston, 3 sisters, Katie Sanderlin, Mary Elizabeth Barnes, and Dorothy Barnes (Baby), 3 grandchildren, LoWanda Madric, Victor Madric, and Holland Brown, and 2 great-grandchildren Luvenia Madric and Paris Raulston Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 2 sisters Ida Ruth Heard (Big Sister) and Willie Bee Brown, 4 children, Harriet Madric, Beatrice Raulston, Yvonne Alexander, and Haneef (Holland) Raulston (Vernetta), 12 grandchildren, Wendell Raulston, James Madric, Zackery Madric, Randolph Madric, Letitia Lake, Joseph Hall, Paris Raulston, Toneko Alexander, Leroy Alexander, Nutalia Alexander, Xaviera Davis, and Jasmine Raulston, 24 great grandchildren, 8 great–great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
