He attended Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church in Wabash. He loved riding his bicycle, cleaning his house, and walking. Among his many friends are his dachshunds, Katu and Elliott.
He is survived by his brother, John Yoakum; nieces, Denise Houdyshell and Kathy Yoakum; nephew, John Yoakum; aunts, Linda (Jerry) McColley and Charlotte Askew; uncle, Robert Dickson; several cousins, and his friend, John Walls. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Edward Pell.
A memorial services was held on Friday, May 16, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Burial was in Friends Cemetery.
