John Patrick Beades, 90, Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday, February 18, 2005, at his home. John was born June 1, 1914, in Kansas City, MO, to Timothy J. and Bridget (Danaher) Beades. John served in the Pacific Theater with the US Army during WWII, and was discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked in the aircraft industry for several years and then worked in the sheet metal industry, retiring in 1982 after 21 years with Vista Manufacturing. John was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Catherine T. Brennan. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Geneva, two daughters, a granddaughter, and a nephew.
