BASSETT, VA ~ Mrs. Eunice Amos Wall, age 88, of Murry Hill Lane, Bassett died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County.

She was born January 10, 1922 in Sandy Ridge, NC to the late Joshua Jefferson Amos and Ollie Richardson Amos.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie Lee Wall Matthews; sisters, Anna A. Clark, Topsy A. Cox, Ruby A. Hennis, Ola A. Angle, Thelma A. Martin, and infant Annie R. Amos; brothers, Robert A. Amos, James C. Amos, Otis F. Amos, Thomas J. Amos and John O. Amos.

Mrs. Wall retired from Smith's Ace Hardware Store in Dunnellon, FL where she was in sales. She was a member of Delta United Methodist Church and Oak Level Ruritan Club.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Lee Wall of the home; sister, Mary Lou Donaho of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
