Horace "Buddy" Caldwell, age 76, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Buddy was born in Macon to the late Woodrow Caldwell and the late Kathleen Adkins Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was a member of The Rangers and where he was begrudgingly stationed in Alaska. He was a retired truck driver with Yellow Freight Systems and a former Shop Steward for the local Teamsters Union. After his retirement he settled in at Lake Sinclair where he loved to hunt and fish.
