Susan was born on January 20, 1948, to Joseph and Mildred (Weber) Major Jr. Her father has preceded her in death.
She is survived by her mother; a son, Robert Newton of South Bend; four grandchildren; and her siblings, MeMe Amador, Dolly (Jerry) White and Kathy (Ron) Patzer, all of South Bend, and Tim Major of California.
Susan worked for Meijer's on Portage for over 11 years. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend.
