Obituary - Mrs. Ida Terrell Brown, 91, died last Wednesday at her residence on Paquatuck Avenue, East Moriches.
Born in Greenport, August 8, 1869, she had resided in the Moriches Bay area for over 70 years.
Surviving are a son, Leslie, of East Moriches; a daughter, Mrs. Hiram Reeve, of East Moriches; a sister, Mrs. Charles Howell, of Center Moriches; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Sunrise Chapter 776, Order of the Eastern Star, The Home Extension Service, East Moriches Methodist Church, the Ladies' Aid Society and branch class of the church.
The body reposed at the residence until 11 a.m. Saturday, when the funeral service were held at 2 p.m. at the East Moriches Methodist Church with the Rev. Arnold Miller officiating. Interment followed in the family plot in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, East Moriches. Arrangements were by the Moriches Funeral Home, Center Moriches.
