Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Kellnersville.
Helen was born Aug. 1, 1920, in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Tillie Novy Petska.
Helen was employed with the F.W. Woolworth Company and the S.S. Kresge Company for 13 years from where she then retired.
On April 14, 1942, she married Raymond F. Naidl at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kellnersville.
Helen had previously been a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Paul's Christian Women, St. Paul's Martha Choir, and participated at the sheepshead marathon at the church. She was a member of the Wisconsin Czechs and had also volunteered her time at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Meals on Wheels and the voting polls.
Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years: Raymond;
one son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Linda Naidl, Menomonee Falls;
four daughters and three sons-in-law: Dianne and Sheldon Niquette, Kaukauna; Dorothy and Jack Reindl, Cedarburg; Kathy and Toni Zucchi, Manitowoc; Jean Marie Naidl, Manitowoc;
one brother and sister-in-law: Harvey and Clara Petska, Manitowoc;
two sisters-in-law: Betty Petska, Manitowoc; Judy Petska, Larabee;
nine grandchildren: Scott (Julie) Niquette, Mark (Lisa) Niquette, Todd Niquette, Dean Niquette, Becky (Leif) Pihl, Keith Naidl, Bryan Naidl, Cassandra (Scott) Blashka, Derrick (Julie) Hoffman;
five great-grandchildren: Melanie, Emily and Matthew Niquette; Mackenzie and Wesley Blashka;
nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends surviving.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
one son: Francis;
two brothers: Victor Petska and Joe Petska;
one sister: Beatrice Petska;
one great-granddaughter: Madeline Helen Blashka.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Clarence Naidl. The visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
