RAYMOND PETSKA

Raymond (Doc) Petska, 46, of Kellnersville, died Monday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Rev. Francis Kerscher will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Graveside military rites will be accorded by the American Legion-Drews-Bleser Post 88.

Mr. Petska was born May 13, 1923, in the Town of New Denmark, Brown County, son of the late Edward Petska and Mrs. Clara Freimuth Petska. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School, Kellnersville, and was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1941. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed at Industrial Millwork Inc., Manitowoc.

Mr. Petska married Viola Sleger May 5, 1951, at Kellnersville, where they resided since. Entering military service in 1944, he was stationed with the U.S. Navy at
Dallas, Tex., where he served as a carpenter's mate third class. Mr. Petska was a member of the American Legion post, the Holy Name Society of the church and the Kellnersville Betterment Ass., of which he was a past vice president.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Clara Petska, of Kellnersville; three sons, Wayne, Gerald and Allen at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Norman Kubsch of Kellnersville and Mrs. Walter Muench of Rt. 1, Cato.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m.Wednesday, where the parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and the Holy Name Rosary at 8 p.m.
