Professional hockey player. The son of a dairy farmer, George Vincent « Skinner » Poulin began his hockey career in 1904 with the Smiths Falls Mic-Mac (OHA). His pro hockey career started in 1907 in Portage La Prairie (Man-Pro), Winnipeg Maple Leafs (Man-Pro) and Galt Professional (OPHL). He was a member of the historical original line-up of Les Canadiens de Montreal (NHA) in 1910. From 1911 to 1915, he played with the Victoria Aristocrats (PCHL), returning with Les Canadiens in 1915 with which he won the Stanley Cup in 1916. After a season with the Montreal Wanderers (NHA), he returned to the Victoria Aristocrats (1918-1919), He ended his career with the Saskatoon Crescent (N-SSHL) en 1921. He settled with his family in Dodsland, Saskatchewan.

Brother of Mrs. Anna Cornell and Rev. Sister Mary of Lourdes, Kingston, and 3 sisters-in-law: Estella Forhan, Marguerite Brady, and Maryon McKay, all of Ottawa. Requiem Mass Friday -10 a.m.- Our Lady of Grace Church, Dodsland. Interment in Assumption cemetery, Winnipeg.
