Edward Forrest Graff, 87, of Lower Burrell, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was born June 15, 1927, in New Kensington, to the late Peter J. and Lois I. Cable Graff and was a life resident of the local area. He was a security guard for U.S. Steel and had previously been a milkman for the former Menzie Dairy. He had also worked on the survey crew for the original Pennsylvania Turnpike. A veteran of World War II, he served as a Private First Class in the 334th Ordnance Field Depot Company. Edward was a member of Lower Burrell Church of God and the Lower Burrell American Legion. His favorite pastime was walking the neighbor's dog. Survivors include his wife of 64-and-a-half years, Esther I. Cousins Graff; sons, Edward F. (Chris Martin) Graff, of Lower Burrell, and Scott E. (Karen) Graff, of Allegheny Township; grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Bradley (Amy) Graff; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Dylan Martin; half-sister, Carol Ozepy, of Lower Burrell; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Graff; and a sister, Mary Barkasi. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, Lower Burrell, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, by the Rev. Douglas Crump. Burial, with military honors by the Army, will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. http://www.RusiewiczFH.com.
