Mr. Robert S. "Steve" Hahn, 52 of 12025 South Mountain Rd., South Mountain, PA, died at 9:57 PM Sunday, November 21, 2004 in the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Mr. Hahn has been in declining health for the past two years.
Born October 19, 1952 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of Mr. Eugene E. and Dorothy J. (McIntire) Hahn of Waynesboro. Mr. Hahn was a resident of South Mountain for the last 25 years.
Mr. Hahn attended Chambersburg Vo-Tech School and was a 1972 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He was employed by the former Chambersburg Engineering, as a foundry worker for 13 years, later by Stanley Barnes Landscaping, Chambersburg as a landscaper for 11 years, and most recently by Abraxas, South Mountain as a cook for over 2 years.
Mr. Hahn was a member of South Mountain Fish and Game, William Max McLaughlin V.F.W. Post #695, Waynesboro, and South Mountain Volunteer Fire Company, where he volunteered as a member of the fire police.
He enjoyed hunting and golfing.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons: Shane L. Hahn, Waynesboro, Duane L. Hahn, South Mountain; two granddaughters, Marissa and Erica Hahn, Waynesboro, four brothers: Larry Douglas Hahn, Greencastle, Dennis Wayne Hahn, Waynesboro, Gregory Alan Hahn, Mont Alto, Jeffrey Lynn Hahn, Wayne Heights; one sister: Mrs. Kathy Ann Valentine, Waynesboro and several nieces and nephew, also survived by Ada "Nan" Ulrich, Fayetteville, who raised him during his early childhood. He also is survived by his former wife Brenda K. Fickes, South Mountain.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook, Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
